The little lady has been away quite a bit this month because I've been traveling for work, which as you may have guessed makes things around the apartment a lot less jummy. She made her triumphant return yesterday, which started with her whining as soon as she saw me through the car window, and ended with her sleeping stretched out and pressed up against my right side. Suffice it to say, I think we are both thrilled she's finally home.

For the Love of Warm Laundry

Toby put it best when he called the Jumaroos a heat-seeking missile. Every morning like clockwork, she wakes me up so I can help her burrow under the duvet. And by burrow, I mean completely submerge herself under the covers while pressed against my leg. It's unclear how she breathes under there, and yet there she remains long after my alarm goes off, until she finally arises and blesses the world with her Jummy presence.
So it goes without saying that the little lady loves herself some warm laundry fresh out of the dryer. She first let me know of her love by attempting to actually climb into the laundry bag. Suffice it to say, I helped her out by laying some of the laundry on the bed which she decided was the perfect warm snuggly bed for a Jumaroos. Of course, I then had to wrap her up in the rest of it. Who can deny such a happy, content pup? And so a weekly tradition began.

How To Deconstruct a Bed in One Act, As Interpreted By Jums
A few weeks ago, a certain little lady went completely bonkers and started tearing her bed apart, so she could tunnel furiously at the bottom. (She's forever trying to get to London to see Toby...). Once she's had enough of tunneling, she'll usually sleep under the cushion. Last night, however, she took it one step further and removed the cushion entirely. Because apparently that's the correct way to make this bed. Mummy has learned a very valuable lesson. Thank you, Jums.
