Chilly Willy

I don't have the words beyond, she was 110% okay with me wrapping her up like this and stayed in the blanket for hours. I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time.

  1. Oh man - that is SO adorable! She's like a furry little burrito baby :-)

We visited friends the other day who took us next door to their neighbours' house who have ten cats and six dogs (two of them are dacshunds). I tell you, our pet-loving-antennae went "zing" straight up into the air. My mom keeps trying to remind me that the joy they bring far outweighs the sadness when they leave. But I guess it takes as long as it takes.

So glad you're updating again - I LOVE reading your Jumble-licious posts!

P.S. I have my ways and means of keeping up-to-date with the Vampire Diaries eps hot-off-the-press, and I have been hooked since it first showed last year! I totally agree about the teenage-emo-factor of the first 6 or so episodes, but then it started getting so dark! Like cringey dark even when Damon took out Mason (I found that hard to watch). I must say, though, that every time I think they've written themselves into a corner, they seem to jump out of it. But I'm not really loving the whole "original ones" slant...it's a little too Aro in Twilight for my tastes.

  2. I most definitely believe the little critters find us exactly when they are supposed to find us. When you guys are ready, you'll know it. And that's going to be one lucky dog!!!

I have to admit, I'm not entirely over Mason's departure. He was far too attractive to be eliminated so quickly. I am however coming around on that Tyler Lockwood and he may or may not be developing a soft spot in my heart. But I agree with you, I'm not into this elder vampire slant--although interestingly enough, the books this series are based on were published prior to the Twilight saga. I hate to use the word "plagiarism", but if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck....
