The Jummy Days of Summer

I am so in love with this photo because the Jumbaroo is striking a pose so very much like my little old man; completely sacked out:

Truth be told, so far it's been a fairly un-jummy summer. Very hot and humid, so I've been trying to take the Jumbaroo for long walks early in the morning before it gets too warm, but even that's been a struggle. Layer on top of that a bit of a bedbug outbreak in my building (which mercifully I've been spared of so far) has led to a very stressful, preoccupied un-jummy summer. A bright spot so far has been The Glee Project (infinitely better than the second season of the show could have ever have hoped for) and The Nine Lives of Chloe King (the Buffy the Vampire Slayer rip-off we've all been waiting a very long time for). And, of course, the Jumbaroo herself, who never ceases to make me feel better when I walk through the door after a long, crappy day at work. Everyone should be so lucky to have someone that utterly delighted to see them just come home on a random Tuesday.

  1. Her sleeping repose really is an exact mirror of Buster. Makes you just want to cuddle her )even more than usual, that is).

So glad to hear you've been spared the bed bug outbreak. I'll be holding thumbs that your luck continues.

Will certainly be checking out The Nine Lives of Chloe King (thanks for the tip).

Take care now you two :-)

  2. Caught up with all the Chloe King eps...it rocks!

    My only criticism:
    - It's a little teeny-boppery (even the mother's character)

    BUT

    All the positives:
    - I like the whole fresh take on the supernaturals.
    - I like the music.
    - The way they use the end credits as part of the show is pretty unique and quite cool.
